Hi, I’m Daryl Schreiber, a nonprofit fundraising and marketing professional with over a decade of experience in nonprofit marketing and fundraising. I’ve worked with small, local organizations with 250 members, and international organizations with impact that spans the globe.
I got into nonprofit work because I wanted to make a positive difference in my community. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of helping organizations engage their supporters and raise the funds they need to thrive.
What I love most about this field is the people. Nonprofit folks are some of the most passionate, caring, and fun individuals you’ll ever meet. They show up every day because they believe in something bigger than themselves, and I get to help them share that belief with the world.

My ideal clients are doing phenomenal work in their communities. They’ve built strong programs and deep community trust, yet they struggle to find the time or bandwidth to build a fundraising or marketing framework that truly matches their impact.
As a Fractional Fundraiser and CMO, I help nonprofits clarify their priorities, create an actionable strategy, and then bring that plan to life. I bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring that big ideas don’t stay trapped in the “someday” pile.

Impact, to me, isn’t just about numbers on a spreadsheet. It’s about stories that humanize issues and remind us that every donation, every hour volunteered, and every act of kindness matters to real people. That’s why I founded Hawkmoth Marketing and Fundraising to help more nonprofits tell their stories and connect with their communities.
Over the years, I’ve led numerous campaigns that met or exceeded fundraising goals and sparked organizational transformation. But what I’m most proud of is helping nonprofit leaders feel less overwhelmed, showing them that they don’t have to do it all alone.

A Little About Me
I’m a third-generation Coloradan with a deep love for my home state and the communities that make it special. My family owned a small chain of coffee shops for almost a decade, so supporting small businesses (and drinking all. the. coffee.) is in my DNA.
I enjoy hiking in the beautiful Evergreen area with my husband, our school-age daughter, and our dachshund mix, Schwartz (like The Schwartz! from Spaceballs). When I’m not helping nonprofits grow, you can find me making art, singing in the car, hiking mountain trails, or making a curated playlist for every occasion.
I love fractional work because it gives me the flexibility to show up for my family, while partnering with changemakers and leaders I truly admire.
